Hookah Station

Being a student at Texas A&M I am very much a regular at Hookah Station and get to see not only the typical customer aspect but also the "behind the scenes" aspect due to becoming very close friends with many of the bartenders as well as waitresses and manager of the lounge.

My first impression of the station is that it is a VERY lively, upbeat place that plays alot of rap and party type music so it is somewhat far from a traditional setting. The hookahs are Mya's with acrylic vases to prevent breakage. They use only Al Ajamy shish which is somewhat hard to find unless ordering wholesale. It has pretty good flavor as well as good thick smoke. They use the japanese silver coated natural coals which are just ok. Yes i have reccomended they invest in coconara's but we will see what happens lol they have a full service bar upstairs with a wide variety of drinks and very personable bartenders but they fail to offer any sort of food. The waitresses are very great people as well and i HIGHLY reccomend requesting Morgan as you waitress, she is a personal friend as well as an incredibly attentive waitress that will take care of you like you are in the VIP every single time!!!

I do highly recommend this location to anyone who goes to Texas A&M or is in the area. It is a very upbeat nightlife atmosphere and is always a good time! It is open every night except for mondays and hours are from 9p.m. to 2a.m. Me and a big group of friends is always there on Thursday nights having a great time so come by and say hey!
